Synopsis:

What would you do if your summer was hijacked because your parents wanted to study freaking bugs? Well, that’s what happened to me. I thought the summer after high school graduation would be a time to have fun, plan for college, and avoid the parents. I did avoid the parents, just not in the way I wanted to.

So instead of going for the summer to Colorado with Mom and Dad, I went with my only other option: my crazy aunt who I haven’t seen in years. And who just so happens to be a make-up artist in England now. Score, right?

Not.

A week into my vacay my aunt gets a call and away we go on some stupid tour her clumsy friend bailed on. Little did I know that the band we were working for just happened to be the biggest boy band in the world. And one of them just had to make me break my rules…

Maybe I should have gone with the crickets.

This book is clean, YA/NA romance.

New Editions Are Here!

The final editions for both Heart of Onyx and Learning Patience are finally here! I’m so excited to tell you guys that you can now find the third editions for both books on Amazon, and the fact that with those two things out of the way, I’m about to start on the final touches for My Heart’s Only Exception (Separate Ways, #3)!

Synopsis:

*This book is a standalone*

St. Claire Adams is the newest up and coming rapper to face music since Eminem. He travels the world, performs to crowds of thousands, and he also finds himself in L.A. County jail.

A lot.

And his final arrest gets him in some deep water not only with his bodyguard Dylan, but more importantly with his record label. Now Saint has an ultimatum to face. Either spend the summer getting “personality rehab” at Dylan’s sister’s famous horse training center, or forfeit his contract with the label and lose the dream life he has as a hip hop artist. Which do you think he chooses?

Life is pretty simple for Patience Kellen. At eighteen years old she is the youngest trainer at her aunt Molly’s horse farm, Kellen Stables, and her life pretty much revolves around the horses she molds into prize winning thoroughbreds. So when news that one of Dylan’s protection details needs a bit of down to earth rehabilitation, she doesn’t even flinch. That is until she meets the tatted up rapper who has…let’s just say a mouth on him.

This summer just got a whole lot more interesting. For both parties.

(This is a clean, NA romance.)

Synopsis:

So I’m told I’m moving to a new country…
I guess I can deal with that.
I have to go to a snobby new school only for the rich and famous…
Um, not ideal, but certainly doable.
Save a world famous pop star and then have the dude kind of stalk you?
Let me think about that for a second…
No.
Of all things mentioned, that is the one I have a MAJOR problem with.

Coming off the shock of my parents’ divorce, Mom springs on me and my younger sister that we’re moving away for her new job promotion. At least it’s London and not some country where they don’t speak English. But being stalked by a pop star wasn’t in the brochure.

What can I say? I’m Darragh Castle, and I pretty much get what I want, when I want it. So you can imagine my shock when I come across the one girl who has ever refused my offer. Little does she know that the word ‘no’ isn’t in my acceptable vocabulary. No matter what, I will be seeing the cheeky little thing again. That I can promise…

This is a clean, YA romance.

COVER REVEAL 2?!

Yep. My second cover reveal is the big surprise! Along with LEARNING PATIENCE I thought that JUMP START MY HEART deserved some love as well, especially considering that this summer I plan on releasing the last book in the Separate Ways series. I hope you guys like it!

With Love and Appreciation…

I decided to write this post today because I’ve finally made a decision concerning what my plans are for the next year and possibly beyond in regards to my writing. It’s something I’ve been debating for a while now, and I’ve made up my mind about what to do. And because of that, I felt like I owed it to you all to explain.

Since around summer of 2013, I’ve been writing non-stop. I’ve written five full books and published three, those three having all been done in that first year. Juggling writing along with a possible art career all while deciding on a degree I’d like to pursue has taken up every spare minute of my time. Mix that with editing, cover design, advertising, and about a thousand other jobs I do other than simply writing my books has made my life rather chaotic, and to be honest, stressful at times.

That is why I have decided that after three years of wonderful, life changing insanity to take a break from writing for a while. I love writing. It gave me an escape and continues to now as a sort of therapy for me when the world’s reality becomes too much. But also, I feel like I’ve exhausted my creativity side in the process of discovering this new passion of mine. With every character I create, with ever chapter I write, and every heartbreak I have to manifest and then fix, a lot of myself has been sacrificed to this job. I wouldn’t take back a single second of it, though. It has given me much in return for taking little. But I feel like I need to take some time to become inspired again, to have that zest for storytelling like I did the day I decided to begin messing with a little short story that then became what is now the Separate Ways series.

But don’t worry. I have plans to release My Heart’s Only Exception (Separate Ways #3) and one more New Adult book I’m in the process of writing now before I metaphorically hang up my laptop for a while. I’ve recently been editing Learning Patience and Heart of Onyx in hopes that one day soon I’ll get around to making them into paperbacks. I also have some surprises coming soon in regards to new covers, so I hope you will all stay around for that.

I plan to continue writing reviews when I get the spare time to read. My life has been up in the air lately, so don’t expect me to have a steady posting timeline lol. I just wanted to let you all know that I have greatly appreciated you sticking around with me for the last few years, and I want to thank the people who have helped me get this far in the first place. I never anticipated actually publishing my stories. I always figured they would be for my eyes only. But with my family’s encouragement, my sister’s endless help, and with some online friends, I’ve been able to do something I never thought I would be able to do. For that, I thank you all with my entire being, and look forward to what the future holds.

Don’t worry, my fellow bookies. I’ll be back.

With love and appreciation,

– Inda Herwood

One Sexy Ginger Coming Up…

So in honor of #KissAGinger day, I thought I’d gift you all with a little edit I made of Carrick Castle along with one of my favorite quotes of his. Don’t forget to look for him and Wren in “My Heart’s Only Exception” (Separate Ways #3) coming soon…

“I sit next to her, trying to keep my eyes from gravitating towards Wren. Which is nearly impossible because I feel like the earth and she’s the sun and I was told I am not allowed to orbit the center of my universe.”
